After reading some of the reviews on here, I wanted to write one myself to talk about the positive experience Ive had. I have struggled my whole life with symptoms I didnt know were ADHD until I became an adult. It is very common for these symptoms to be overlooked in women when theyre young since most ADHD studies were conducted with male participants until very recently. It took me three days to complete the assessment (with frequent breaks because.. you know.. ADHD) and I received my results the next day from a psychologist licensed in Michigan. I brought my results to my PCP and they reviewed the full 30 page report with me to discuss my options moving forward. My only complaint is that I didnt seek help sooner; I can only imagine how much easier my life could have been had I found the help I needed while I was still in school.
The service I received significantly deviated from what was advertised. ADHD Online claims to offer a thorough, detailed clinical evaluation that is recognized and accepted by doctors nationwide. However, the reality was far different, with multiple issues constituting a bait-and-switch and false advertising. 1. Misrepresentation of Medical Acceptance: One of the key selling points advertised by ADHD Online was that the results would be accepted by medical professionals across the country. However, after receiving the assessment report, I discovered that this claim is untrue. Several doctors I consulted did not recognize or accept the results, deeming the report inadequate for clinical purposes. This false claim was a major factor in my decision to purchase the service, and its failure to deliver on this promise is a clear case of misrepresentation.2. Bait-and-Switch Advertising: ADHD Onlines advertising emphasizes a comprehensive, personalized evaluation, but the product delivered was anything but that. After submitting my assessment at 6:30 p.m. Central Time on 827, I received a report less than an hour later, by 7:38 p.m. It is not plausible that my responses were thoroughly reviewed in such a short time. The report was generic, rushed, and failed to provide any meaningful clinical insight or individualized recommendations. The rapid turnaround and poor quality suggest the service provided is far from the comprehensive evaluation promised in the advertising materials.3. Under the consumer protection act, it is unlawful for a business to make false representations regarding a products characteristics or benefits, which is exactly what occurred here. Specifically it prohibits misleading representations about a products acceptability in medical practices and false representations regarding a products characteristics and benefits, such as the promise of a detailed and clinically valuable report.

Some may start withnon-medicated approacheslike coaching or therapy. In other cases, patients may explore medication treatment paths when warranted by diagnosis. For some diagnosed with ADHD, the treatment clinician may work with the patient to determine ifstimulant approacheswork best for them. Stimulant approaches are certain medications under medical treatment that are generally Class II controlled substances. Non-stimulant options are another approach that can work for many. Medication approaches can be used in tandem with coaching or therapy.

This company is aweful. I was told by my medical provider to use this company to get a quick adhd diagnosis because it was believed that was what I was suffering from instead of anxiety. Several attempts at treatment for anxiety over several years didnt work. After taking assessment, Doctor claimed I had insomnia even though I reported getting 7-8 hours of sleep at night, plus naps when possible. He also claimed I was significantly depressed even though I never reported any depression symptoms. Said I didnt prove symptoms occurred before age 12 either. Contacted customer services and they said to submit and email explaining my symptoms and why I didnt agree with doctors diagnosis. After submitting info, I didnt hear anything back for almost 2 weeks. Contacted support again and they said they would contact doctor. Doctor almost immediately responded with same diagnosis, saying even though I showed all symptoms, he was NOT changing his diagnosis. Its extremely frustrating to pay for a service and be told yeah you show all the symptoms, but Im gonna say youre severely depressed and an insomniac even though thats 100 false. Now customer service wont even answer when I call. left several voicemails with no return call. I believe the doctor got mad when I reported that he had not done his job properly. I believe that he is also not trained in womens adhd symptoms. I also feel like this is a result of a man in power trying to belittle a woman that is trying to get help for her condition to make her life better. All in all I cant believe that in trying to improve my quality of life, I have been treated like this. I will never recommend this company to anyone and I have already told my healthcare provider what happened and to not refer anyone else to this company. This is why so many women dont try to receive treatment. We are always belittled and told we are crazy, depressed, etc. I give this company 0 stars.
